Why are they having you go to a store to take out the T-Mobile SIM and put in the Boost SIM?

I agree, I've replaced multiple SIMs myself. This is how it is done on an android cell, iphones are the same.

You probably don't have arthritis in your hands. As I age I find that I can't do tasks that I could easily do. Just removing the Otter box is challenging.

I didn't realize that it was your decision. I was thinking they were telling you that you needed to go to a store to do the swap.

I do indeed have major arthritis in my hands. While I no longer am able to do some things that I used to, I am able to hold a paper clip, push it in, remove and replace a SIM card. I recently replaced my iMac memory cards without issue.

So have any other Dish customers switched to Boost. I'd save about $120 a year on two lines. I have Consumer Cellular 2 lines sharing 5gb data for $40/month + $12.75 tax & fees. I'd rather not have the inconvenience of a tech visit with two 90lb Golden Retrievers to put away for god knows how long. I could easily install the sim card myself and then call Boost from the other line, then do the same with the other phone. I doubt taxes are included so it would be $30 + $12.75 a month, but would still be cheaper than what I have now. Anyone else's experience would be helpful.

We had 34 Boost Work orders in our company yesterday, all Dish customers

I've been with Boost for 24ish months, but just recently let go of Dish. It took Dish forever to put this together and why in the heck they haven't slogged together Sling and Boost into a package (obviously for more) is beyond my comprehension.

Regardless, final bill is about $25. I've been real happy with the service. Indoors (inside a big place), the 5G is less iffy that it was. I use it as a phone generally, though stream music, so I can't speak of video streaming. They have an add-on for North America connect which was brilliant up north of the border.

I have now had Boost mobile for almost a month. My bill is $15.05. The coverage between Marysville and Plain City Ohio is good. Prior to this I would lose T-Mobile service at several locations. Since I have WiFi at home, church, and Cub Scouts my total data usage was only .57 GB.
My only concern is will my plan continue since Dish is selling their 5G Spectrum licenses.
