Thats good for the NFL mainly as thats a huge draw for them each week in the Fall ...

I didn't see anywhere how Long this contract was for ....

There was a time with D* when this type of thing happened regularly, My Fox channels never went down, it appears they may have either got the agreement done ahead of time and just posted the info ahead of time (as they should have) or they lwft them up while continue to make progress ....
No need to shut down channels when the companies are working towards an agreement.

Still disappointed in DirecTV. It is like having a whole group of kids, but you have that one who is never any trouble, and then one day he does something. It disappoints you more than the others, from whom you expect it.

DirecTV is supposed to be above this issue. It is not for people who are trying to save a few pennies, and will put up with disruptions.
