Fox News PQ Down?

Hi. This is my first post here, so please be nice to me.

I noticed today that my Fox News Channel on Dish Network seems almost like the bit rate has gone down or something. I'm seeing all sorts of artifacts around picture edges that I've never seen before (and we watch FNC a LOT).

Did something change? Did anyone else notice this?

Fox News is in the midst of gearing up for HD, a week or so ago they said that they shut gown one whole control center and that there would be some glitches as they moved forward with their upgrade.
I noticed some "Clay Face" effect this evening on the O'Reilly Factor.

I to have noticed the Fox News picture quality varying from excellent (for SD) to horrible (like early analog cable). I hope that when all of their changes are done, Fox News in HD on E* will follow shortly.

Actually, it is an E* ploy to support their preferred candidate as many thing Fox News is biased in the opposite direction. They figure if they make the PQ bad enough, folks will cease watching and instead tune to MSNBC.

Yes, FNC does have HD, but what I saw was that they were building a complete new HD studio. Also I have not seen FNC bragging about their HD, so I assume that it is not up to the standards they would like yet.

That is true, they did have Obama on this past week. So at least the IQ down was just temporary. Unless of course they have the "community organizer" on again.
