I only started watching that channel this past spring.I enjoyed "The Academy" & and "The Orange County Fire Academy".Those are the only 2 shows I ever watched on FRC.

I noticed a memo thing on the D* receiver letting me know where the channel was located since new channels dont show in the favorites

Contract for the HD side is not worked out yet, contrary to popular belief, the SD and HD contracts are separate in many cases. I'd rather have it in SD, than not it all. I never watched that dumbass Fox Reality.

Dunno, it musta not done well. Satracer said that Directv was on of the last providers actually broadcasting that channel. Most others had moved to Nat Geo Wild already.

Fox owns Nat Geo

Shutdown and rebranding to National Geographic Wild

In October 2009, it was announced that Fox Reality Channel would be discontinued on most providers on March 29, 2010 and re-branded into an American version of National Geographic Wild.[2][3][4][5]Also on that date, the channel's old website was taken down and redirected to its archived programming on Hulu.com, as well as National Geographic Wild's new site. National Geographic Wild was launched on Dish Network on April 19, 2010.[6] However, Mediacom failed to reach a carriage deal for National Geographic Wild and is still broadcasting Fox Reality Channel. DirecTV ceased carrying Fox Reality Channel on June 30, 2010 at 6:00 AM EDT, and began carrying National Geographic Wild.
