Yay, my favorite free preview, Investigation Discovery is up. This usually free previews every January and only in January but I'll take it 3 months early.
It looks like this preview was not shortened after all. So, the original date was correct, and channel 103 SD and the mydish Free Previews page were both wrong this month.

I updated the listing of free channels on Dish to reflect today's changes. Dish removed the free channels that had been used to promote the Flex Pack and Channel Packs.

That same uplink report also shows that Dish is testing something involving SiriusXM Soul Town. Whatever they changed had no effect on the ongoing perpetual free preview of that channel, though.
