Free Stars and Showtime

I signed up for Directv in September and got the free 3 months of Stars and Showtime. It shows up on my bill for $24 and I get a credit for $24. When this expires will they automatically take this off my account or do I have to cancel it myself? I don't want to get charged for them.

Good news. I canceled one day before the free trial expired on Sept 20. Directv credited my account for $.80 for partial month credit. D* did not try and charge me cancellation fee. DISH tried that 3 years ago with me, then the supervisor waived the fee.
