Has anyone tried a 6 foot dish comerical dish that used to be tx rx dish and put an tria from a dishnet dish on it? Or any other paytv satellite Internet company?

That would not be FTA.
Not sure if it has been tried, but it is a lot harder to align a mismatched TRIA. Getting the transmit aligned properly would be very hard on something like that.

I would also remember that this is a microwave transmitter and proper safety precautions are taken. The removed units from my Prodelins are covered with sun faded warning decals.

I would rather spend my time building a device for the outernet. For me that is something I'm looking forward to.
