I understand Comcast is moving to MPEG4. Is there a list of markets with dates to be completed or a list of markets live fully MPEG4?

I haven't been able to find such a list yet. I'm still in MPEG2 here in Homestead,FL.

You'll get notice from Comcast on your bill and ultimately in separate mailings before they transition in your area.

You'll probably also see a minor uptick in TiVo's stock value (currently nearing a 42 month low of $8.38).

One of the screens shows the tuner is using MPEG4. So maybe?

You may be on mpeg 4 already but as harshenss mentioned above and from what I've heard from others, comcast will let you know when it's close to doing this in your area.

On the Roamio Pro, coming from DIsh and the hopper with sling, my expectations may be high. I can say I'm very happy with it and in a couple of ways it's even better than my previous dvr. Combined with the Tivo mini, couldn't be happier.

Might switch back to Charter, a few Q's
