Full screen with Android app?

Hi, new to the forums... Was wondering if anyone knew how to get full screen on the Android app? On my phone, I'm left with home buttons showing to the right of the screen. I've made them disappear once, but wasn't sure how I did it. Any help would be appreciated.

I think that is app dependent. What app? Possibly you just touch the screen in the middle.

The Slingtv app. Tapping middle screen. Just does a mild zoom n zoom out.
