I got the letter today too. The fact that the rate is going up $1.01 for me is really not the issue. The fact that the letter was dated January 1st and I get it today January 28th really pisses me off.
If I did not read these forum I would be really pissed by the lack of heads up. To tell me my rates go up February 1st which is 3 days away is just inconsiderate. At least cable tells you far in advance.

That does seem pretty inconsiderate. They do the same such things to retailers springing things upon them at the last moment. The customers have less of a chance to purchase it annually to save some money if they want to choose this option.
