future of sling

I have a 622 right now, and would like to get a slingbox. Do you think they will ever incorporate a software update to add any kind of sling functionality to the 622? If that probably won't ever happen, I guess I could just buy a slingbox or wait for the fabled 922.

There is no hardware in the 622 for them to make it into a Slingbox.

It appears that work on the 922 is going well and now has an estimated release date of April 1st.

Any thoughts on if Dish will do a "Dish It Up" with the 922. Saving $10 a month with their current promo isn't good enough to get me to renew a contract, getting the 922 would.

Probably not at release. However a few months after that I could see it helping make customers sticky.
