Sorry to regurgitate this, but it continues; I just want to make sure I indeed have a bad receiver or, this is normal behavior.
Watching live tv, rewound to see Ovechkin's goal (for ex...) at very end of news, Leno follows. Pressed pause for about 6 minutes (programming moved on to next show---Leno). The popup window asked if to record to end of current program, etc. The box header indicated Late Night with Leno, not the news. Pressed REC and it recorded Leno, and not the goal. If I do it in the middle of a program (not close to end of one, beg of another), it records from the moment I press REC, not the paused rewound moment.
Is this a sympton of dual mode? Or indeed a bad receiver? I recall in single mode it worked fine.
