Did little research on where future ATSC 3.0 rf channels would be placed. :) :clapping

I guess rf ch. 2 to 6 is not likely placed here, unless they want to take chances regardless of high band noise or E-skip, F2 skip layers.:eeek:facepalm

However, VHF-Hi could be placed for ATSC 3.0 rf channels like 9, 11 and 12.

Now we go on UHF band channels like 14 "not likely due to 2 way radio QRM" 28, 31, 33 and 34 could be used for ATSC 3.0.

Now of course some of the low power stations could be converted from ATSC 1.0 to ATSC 3.0 if they agree to share Network channels, on their allocated rf channel.

Now what you think of this?:biggrin2

I believe the FCC position is that the transition must be done within existing RF allocations.

Thus the idea of ATSC 3.0 “lighthouse“ stations.
