Gene Shalit Leaving the Today Show

Gene Shalit, the uniquely-coiffed television personality who has been a mainstay on the Today show for four decades, will leave the NBC program on Nov. 11.
Shalit said in a statement from his pr representative, "It's enough already."

"Enough already" is an understatement...I found it difficult to look at this guy, much less listen to his less-than-stellar reviews.

His reviews have been pretty cranky for the last few years...
