Hi all I am geting Directv in my apartment. When I first moved in the Landlord said I could get one.My question is do I need a written letter from her saying that I can get one to give to the installer or do they care.I just told Directv on the phone that she said I could get one.thanks!

You only need one if you are putting the dish out side your own area. Other than that the apartment managers cant say NOTHING

Get the letter, It spells out what can and cannot be done. Your apt may not allow you to drill holes or whatever.

I agree. No letter, no install, unless I have experience in that complex. Your installer should not have to wait for you to hash it out with the complex manager. Know what is expected and have it in writing before the installer arrives. Most of them aren't paid by the hour.
