Getting Atlanta locals in south Ga?

How would one go about getting the Atlanta locals in south Georgia?

I have the locals out of Albany, Ga but they're not HD. Is there a way I could get the HD locals out of Atlanta? I would like to be able to watch all the football I can this season in HD. Also, if I understand correctly, the Atlanta locals are on the 129 sat and not on a spotbeam. Would that enable me to pick them up somehow.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.


I stumbled upon this website about a month ago, and its amazing how much stuff you guys/gals know about all this satellite technology. I thought I knew alot, boy was I wrong. Thanks for keeping people like myself informed on everything going on in the satellite industry.

Potentially, you could "move" to an address in the Atlanta area, and as long as you have a satellite at 129 and an HD receiver you would be all set. You would just change your address with Dish while leaving your billing address the same.
