This Friday I am finally getting DirecTV installed, after convincing my landlord that her HOA had no standing to forbid it. At first I thought there would be no issue finding "a clear view of the Southern sky" between my front and back patios. Now I wonder...what constitutes a "clear view" and is there anything I can do to enhance those views?

Welcome to SatelliteGuys... Clear view= No Trees nor buildings to block the view, with your zip code It is possible to know exactly the azimuth and elevation where the Phase III will be aimed... for example mine is 181.5/51.7
