GlobeCast is part of France Telecom but it gained a Latin accent with its latest deal to provide coverage of the recent soccer match between the United States and El Salvador. The Oct. 9 World Cup qualifying match won 2-0 by the United States was delivered to CR Sports. The match from San Salvador featured a feed from El Salvador's Canal 4 that was transmitted through two discrete and encrypted signals to GlobeCast's Miami teleport.
