May have too look in to this. Will those hacks and crap they used on the receivers be easy to wipe out to a clean factory setting? I know that pansat 3500 that I have has an option to go back to factory settings, do other receivers?

yes in most cases you can reload factory software into it

a master reset just nukes the settings. It doesn't change the software back to factory
