Vector graphics is very impressive
Google Maps 5.0 hits Android, includes new 3D map view and offline Navigation -- Engadget

Had a chance to test the offline feature on an isolated island. Works great.

The compass mode is also really cool... the needle should turn with your phone... pretty cool.
