#1 I dont stream anything except youtube. #2 I hate the plain flat ui on the newer recievers being the H3. #3 doesn't have built in ota and only runs off dpH. Older technology is usually built like tanks. Also if there was a way to have at least my hopper 2 on old software (ui) from about 2016 or when before the updates i would use that a lot
i prefer the hoppers UI over dtv's crap!!! never had any of the older boxes except for the 311 in a business for music only.

back in the old rear projection days :biggrin
I had one of those big box tv on wheels. I was going to give it to my dad when we bought a new flat screen back in the day and my brother n law didn't lock it down with the bungee cord in his flat bed truck and it went crashing down when he stopped at a stop sign. So we ended up throwing it away.

*LOVE my LG OLED TV. Makes all other TVs that I have had look pale in comparison. ;)

This is what we had at our old house before we moved 8 years ago. HR24 had the good ui with the cyclone logo but now they update to the new one....and then we got spectrum cable in 2017

I owned the Dish TV. It was an RCA 34" CRT. It was huge and weighed a ton. But it was my first High Definition unit.
