Got a Viewsat Max and have a few ?'s regarding programming

I was wondering is there any way to pick up NY feeds of locals with one? I am a NYG fan and would like to see more games. I wont pay DTV (I dont pay for TV I just use my OTA here in seattle.) And on top of paying DTV I would pay $250 or whatever for football. If I could pay just $100 for the Giants games I would think about that. But I am a person that thinks a la carte is the way to go. Anyway is there any way I could get them with this box if so what dish would I need to get?

Did you check the Caribbean mux on 99°W C-Band? It is my understanding that those stations originate out of New York. You could check the broadcast schedule on TitanTV or something and see if they carry any of the games you're interested in watching. Obviously they would need a C-Band dish, but I think Iceberg is using a 6 footer to pick them up.

yes a 6 footer will pick them up. I've seen even a 4 footer get them

They dont always have NY teams though

I've used a 40" dish to get the nets on 99 with very occasional signal loss.
