Ground needed in attic OTA?

I was up in my attic checking the HDTV OTA the satellite installer put up for me. Unless I am mistaken, I don't see where the antenna is grounded. He has the antenna positioned in the insulation in the corner of my garage attic and it is couple to an existing coax that runs doen to the basement. Is is possible that the coax was already grounded somewhere along the line?
Or do I need to have the antenna grounded?

:yikes If your antenna in the attic gets struck by lightning, the tv, etc. are going to be the least of your problems.
