Does the H21-200 have timers for recording?

If so, once a timer has begun, are you prevented from accidentally changing channels by using the channel change buttons on the remote?

You can set up manual recordings for time and channel much the same as on a Tivo, If your try to change channels while it is recording it will ask you if you want to stop recording or not.

Joe, that should ONLY happen if you are only using one tuner, normally they run 2 lines for a DVR , that way when you record with the first tuner, you can change channels and watch something other than what your recording.

Sorry about that, I record a lot of shows around the same time and frequently both tuners are busy. I should have stated it better.
