h24-500 rec to use with RV

I have a five receiver SWM directv system with DVR's and two H24-500 receivers. I am trying to use one H24 with my RV and as slimline 5 muiltswitch dish for the RV set up. I used an old receive to set up the Dish. but I cant get the h24-500 to change out of the SWM mode to mulitswitch to work with the Slimline 5 muilt switch dish. I try hard reset and it returns to SWM mode. I cant seem to get the receiver to change.
any other Ideas.the four dish selection in the configuration table appear to change but the configuration verify fails and give a 775 code cant communitate with Satellite.

It's an ongoing problem you are experiencing. A reboot may do the trick. Truthfully, the easiest fix is to get a swm lnb and power inserter for your rv.

go into the satellite setup (menu/settings/settings/scroll down to satellite) then "redo satellite setup"

that should allow you to change it
Or honestly if you dont have a favorites list setup just do a master reset (options above but instead of satellite go to reset and select "reset everything"
That puts the receiver in factory mode and 1st option is language then it tries and finds the satellite setup

There have been posts of issues getting it to go from a SWM setup to a non-SWM setup

Connect the receiver to the RV dish. Go to redo satellite setup. Before you try to change the dish type, change the multiswitch setting to "multiswitch". Then the dish types will become available.
