I just installed my Hopper 3 and I received the message hard drive error. I unplugged it about 10 times and it is still saying it. Is there anything that can be done without exchanging it?

If you keep getting the message, I would say it's time to notify DISH. Perhaps they have some other troubleshooting steps prior to an exchange. It could be a lemon.
 
Hard drive error again. I never had a hard drive failure when I had the hopper with sling.
