H3 Hard Drive Error

I just installed my Hopper 3 and I received the message hard drive error. I unplugged it about 10 times and it is still saying it. Is there anything that can be done without exchanging it?

Could be something simple such as the cable from the Hard Drive came unplugged in transit... but I don't know if I would open it.

If you keep getting the message, I would say it's time to notify DISH. Perhaps they have some other troubleshooting steps prior to an exchange. It could be a lemon.

I think I'd unplug it! Could burst into flames.

Hard drive error again. I never had a hard drive failure when I had the hopper with sling.
