H3 records what it darn well pleases.

Two nights ago the wife set up a TCM movie to record at 1AM. Last night we settled in to watch it and about 30 minutes into the recording playback it switched to a recording of the local CBS station but the info banner still showed it was playing back the TCM movie. Obviously a gremlin did not like the movie and decided to record the local station instead.

I had the opposite gremlin experience a couple of weeks ago. Sat down to watch NBC's back-to-back season finale of Aquarius, and discovered I had two hours of some game on ESPNU - and neither team was mine! So happy there's VOD! Hope you'll catch your movie on a re-airing!

Another quirk...I trashed the fouled up recording and then re-searched for the movie. The H3 found it and I selected it. Unfortunately it was the recording I just trashed. I suppose as long as the H3 has it recorded it will only supply that one and not look for a future showing.
