H3 vs Joey 2 and rain fade.

A relatively heavy rainstorm has just passed over and the Joey lost signal for about five minutes but the H3 did not. The Joey picture has now returned but is SD. Color me confused.

That is the stupid feature that was added to the Hopper were if you lose signal on a HD channel it will automatically switch to the SD version of the channel you were watching.
I REALLY wish you could turn that feature off.

Were they both tuned to the same channel? If not, perhaps the two channels were on different satellites and one of the sats was not affected by the storm.
