Happy To be with D*

Hello,

Just thought I would say that I got my 3 room D* system put in 2 weeks ago, and I'm happy with everything so far. the install was relatively painless, (I did need to have 1 hole through my wall for the 2nd dvr tuner line, but I expected that.) but I used my existing cable wiring for most of the install, and everything works great, I'm even using a wireless phone jack for the tivo dvr box and it works just fine.

Got all my equiptment through D*, and I'm getting a $50.00 rebate for the dvr.

How do you like the station surfing. I found it hard to get used to the pause between channels.......What to you think

I really don't mind about the slight lag in surfing channels, I figure it's to do with changing voltages etc. All in all I'm glad I made the switch, no more paying for movie channels I don't watch. My cable company bundled HBO/Showtime, so they could charge more. Now I can choose which movie channels I want, and pay for that.
