Ugggh, does that sound bring back some bad memories!

One of my coworkers' drive was making clicks and squeaks of death the other day. The drive was in a box that had hardware RAID 1 on the motherboard, so he wasn't too worried, and it stopped after 30 minutes or so. The RAID management utility did not report any drive errors which seemed pretty weird with all the noises coming out of one of the drives!
