Some have gotten an upgrade to the HR20 via customer retention for free. I paid 99 bucks for the upgrade. As long as local HD is available in your area, you should qualify for the upgrade.

Called retention today.
They are scheduling my HR20 and new dish now. Appeared to be a CSR that's heard alot of arguments for and against D*'s "swapping" policy for us old HR 250's.
He threw in $10 off HBO for 6 months.
