Having a DVR Playback issue--"Cannot playback because subscription has not been purchased" error

I have slowly downgraded my service over the years and eliminated all movie channels due to cost. After last night's update, now I cannot play back some of my older recorded DVR movies (like Tangled that was recorded from Starz). I had had this problem with playback from the Joey, and after countless hours and tech support they could not figure this issue out 1.5 years ago, so I just left it and figured at least I could watch my recordings from the Hopper. Now it will not play from the Hopper (and we did watch it only a few days ago without a problem). Not all recordings are affected, I have some HBO shows that do play without a problem. Has anyone else had an issue with this and can this be fixed?
 
Known issue. They haven't fixed it yet. No idea when, it doesn't seem to be a high priority, and it doesn't affect everyone.
