Having install done right now - help!

If you have a powered rooftop, it should have come with a power injector for it that can be used for it. You'd have to be on the antenna side of any equipment to use it and since the power is usually similar to what a lnb takes, you might be able to pass power on a diplexer for that. I would search the forum for dish and diplexer to find the examples posted.

If it's a powered antenna, he'll need a diplexor set with both sides having the ability to be power passing, if he chooses to use diplexors.

Dish tuner btter than Voom's

I switched from voom. Once I got my diplexer in, i was fine. But, i needed a 2150Mhz diplexor, not the standard 2050Mhz. This would be important to anyone who lill be using an ota antenna with a diplexor. I've acyually been able to pull in a few more channels with the 811.
