Having problems with your 301?

I just started having trouble with my newest 301. 301 would lose sat reception on sat except one and the one it would get would change. Many check switches would not work, resets, changing wires, and brought to different location. New or reman on the way from dish for $15 shipping. Hope it wasn't just software. My other 2 301 never skipped a beat.
