I live in Tulsa, and my friend has a TV that is HD, but don't believe it has the tuner. So I am looking for a good HD OTA receiver for the locals. I would also like to make sure that if an EPG is available for locals in the Tulsa area, that the receiver can use it.

My friend tried hooking up a Phillips antenna from Target costing $30, but didn't get HD channels and most SD had not great quality. That is the reason I believe we need an HD OTA receiver for the TV.

Thanks for the help....

Look in the manual for "ATSC tuner" to determine.

1. Do you have a DBS HD receiver?

2. You could try looking for one of these set-top ATSC boxes.
LG LST-4200A
Humax HFA100
Samsung SIR-T451
RCA ATSC11 or 21
Viewsonic HD12
Zenith HDR230
Zenith HDV420 or 430

The PSIP info transmitted by local stations is severely limited in both quality and quantity.

If you want to know what's on TV use TitanTV.com.
