I have stayed with Comcast because the HD picture quality is usually excellent; however Consumer Reports and others rate DirecTV as overall superior, and Comcast near the bottom. Has anyone compared the picture quality between Comcast, DirecTV, and Dish? I would like to know whether the HD cable picture is better than satellite, or are they all about the same?

I went from Dish to Comcast and now Diretv. I would rate Comcast is the best HD quality among the three. Not that D and E are horrible, but their images are a little softer than those form Comcast. I still get some Comcast HD locals along with D.

Had Directv for over 8 years and really liked thier PQ, when I started getting into HD there was no choice when we moved other than to switch for the best PQ, and here that means Comcast
