I have a digital TV and some converter boxes. The digital signal keeps cutting out. I can't get CBS at all on the big TV - which has power rabbit ears. The small TV, in a bedroom gets a little better reception with basic rabbit ears.
I have a 1 story, ranch house. The attic is about 4' high in the center. I have asbestos siding. There is a metal vent on each end of the attic. The house faces WSW.
I had an antennae at he south end of the house that I took down recently because it was a VHS only antenna. It did not seem to change the reception.
Can I put an antennae in the attic. Do you have any recommendations?

If you decide to put the CM4221 in the attic, keep it away from AC and heater ducting and horizonal pipe, conduit, etc.

Such things can cause reflections that will kill a digital signal.

Point 'er SE and enjoy.
