HD Tivo thinks your pressing up arrow?

Hi all,

Got a customer with an AMX system and one of their 3 D tivo's is freaking out and acting like your holding down the UP arrow but their they are not. Yes we checked for remotes in that room. WE even remoeved the amx system from the picture and it still acts like the button is stuck internally. Has anyone ever heard of this?

Not once not ever...
sounds like some kind or IR interference.

there is a front panel nav. rocker. that may be stuck.
Could try pressing the down arrow on that. Perhaps the up got stuck on that somehow.

have you tried dropping power and bringing it back up?
