HD Upgrade local question

I have been trying comcrap out for the last two months. On thing i do like is my locals channels in HD with out an OTA. I am rehoking my DTV service my promotion will be over shortly I figured I would give it a try. My question is sorry if this has been coverd. But when the conversion takes place will I need an OTA for my locals or will they be coming in through the dish. I live here in philly. THanks

1 - 11 & 13 will be served FIRST; for a nominal monthly fee; OTA will still provide the free OTA signals. You will need a new dish and receiver. There are many threads on some of the rollout rumors, as nothing official has been announced. Here are the two busiest.

I agree with Charper...it will be coming through the dish but there is stil no word on pricing for this. we should know by the end of summer.

I'd just like to add onto this, that DirecTV has announced that HD-LIL will be free of charge if you subscribe to your SD-LIL.

They could always add that next year! LOL!!

However, for the time being, that have stated that they will be included free of charge with your subscription to SD-LIL.
