HD34-310 help, Power on

I own HD3-310 and I am having problems turning it on,
When i hit the power button the light comes on for 4 seconds then it goes off, it comes on again dor 4 seconds then it goes off, it comes on again for 4seconds and it either turns on or the light goes out ad nothing happens. If it does not come on I cannot try again for 45 seconds as pushing the power button does not do anything for that period of time. I would appriciate any help in this matter.

Sounds like it died. I'd leave it unplugged from everything (power & sat) overnight. If it does the same thing tommorrow, time to get a new receiver.
