In a couple of weeks I will be getting a Direct TV HD. I currently have VIP211 in room 1 and a legacy receiver in room 2. The new system will be similiar with a HD receiver in room 1 and a standard receiver in room 2. The current coax is RG6 copper core, less that 2 years old and buried from the dish to under the house then goes to each room. Each run is around 70 feet long. Will these two cables be sufficient? Will I need more than 1 cable to each room? Would like to be as prepared as I possible. Thanks for your help.

They shouldnt have a problem using that cable.

If you decided to add a HD-DVR then they would have to run another line for the second tuner. With a standard HD box though, unless he sees a problem, he will probably be happy that he can use existing wires
