HDMI doesn't work with 411. Any advice?

Hi All,
I finally bought an HDMI switcher and wa splanning on using it with my 411. I got it all hooked up and had a black screen. Even bypassing the switcher (running direct) I get a black sceen. Any advice on how to get this to work?

i know first receiver when they came out had HDMI problems and 411 was before 211 so i would say it is a receiver and you gona have to rap lase it
