HDMI & Movies Channels Question

since that HR34 update yesterday my receiver is acting funny, my question is if i have a something schedule to record on HBO and it said the HDMI thing will it still record? thanks

It should. The HDMI issue is only from the output of the dvr to the input of your display, not in the recording process.
