Many of these movies have been playing in Feb.

However, Director's cut of Dances With Wolves in OAR, "yeah, baby". I can delete Encore's cropped 16:9 version.

I have several of these movies archived from other programmers, but HDNMV Movies have higher bitrate...
My picks for the month from the above list:
American Graffiti (already have but will likely replace)
Dances with Wolves (Director’s Cut) (have but not OAR)
High Fidelity
Wayne’s World (need)Tia Carrera need I say more...
This is Spinal Tap (have but with commercials)
Little Big Man
Gunfight at the Ok Corral (have but will have to check bitrates)
Chisum

I recorded Donnie Darko (I own the DVD) last night and thought the quality to sorely lacking. Washed out, soft. Put in the DVD, night and day difference.

Maybe I'm lame, but I'm really looking forward to both Costner films...yes, both of them.

Ok, to tell the truth, I think Costner's performance in Robin Hood is mediocre or so.

But the "supporting" cast is incredible. Yes, they changed the story. big deal. it isn't a real life story...it's fiction.

Anyway, Alan Rickman's performance in this movie just floors me. It's his best "bad guy" role, and that's saying something.

I also love the score to this movie. not the Bryan Adams song at the end...the score itself. Easily the best score, musically, of the 1990s. You may scoff at this, but trust me...go find the CD somewhere, or get it online...that score is as good or better than anything John Williams ever did. The best part is that, unlike most Williams scores, this one isn't derivative.

Anyway, I'm excited for these two films on HDNET!
