Hallmark Christmas Porn channel.:biggrin Boy meets girl, girl wants a career and no boy and by the end of the movie in the last 10 minutes they will get together. Everyone is beautiful and dresses well, and they all come from the upper middle class and the town or city that they hang out in is dressed like a Macy Dept store at Christmas. The funniest thing is watching them and they are supposed to be in a cold mountain village and you can't see anyone's breath when they speak and no body's hair has static electricity in it and it's standing on it's end. Fake snow everywhere and the funniest thing is that they film these like the Summer before the Christmas season. Women eat this crap up at Holiday time.

The rest of the year they like to watch Lifetime Channel or what I call it at home ("the Battered B*tch channel ") Where every guy is a bad misogynistic guy who beats and berates any woman they come upon in the show and who meets a bitter ending by the hands of the Woman star (-victim) in the movie.;)

I like "classic Christmas Movies" like Die Hard,

But I see no shame in admitting I also enjoy some Hallmark Christmas movies

I especially enjoyed one where a girl from the WWII era travels to the future. I like sci-fi and that was a movie I found quite entertaining...

Journey Back to Christmas (2016)

The only Christmas movies I remember watching in the last 20 years (not including Christmas adjacent movies, like Iron Man 3 or Love Actually) are Elf and Bad Santa. Elf is probably my all-time favorite Christmas movie (i.e., I'd watch it again).

Too many boring, repetitive movies regurgitating the same story over and over about a white cishet couple falling in love. I can't handle another 40 of these. Hallmark's gimmick has become stale.

Wake me up when they start releasing some Christmas movies featuring non-white couples and non-heterosexual relationships. Where's my Christmas love story about an Asian or a lesbian couple?

One thing I like about the Netflix Christmas movies is that they're not afraid to cater to demographics other than aging white heterosexual American boomers.

Netflix's 'Let It Snow' features a lesbian couple and an interracial couple, and The Christmas Chronicles was a blast probably because it wasn't about romance at all!

That one actually was good! The sci-fi element helped to prevent it from falling into the generic rehashed story trap that most of the Hallmark ones end up falling into.

You haven't been paying attention, they've been doing that for a few years now. I would suggest you turn on Hallmark Movies and Mysteries this Thursday night at 9 and you just might wake up.

"A Christmas Miracle", Tamera Mowrey-Housley and Brooks Darnell

Hallmark Movies & Mysteries has a seperate schedule:

Lesbian couples you want to watch? Watch just about any CW superhero show or any CW show period and you will find lesbians, even interracial lesbians.

For many years now I only watch Christmas movies on TV, last Christmas movies I saw at the cinema was:

Christmas with the Kranks, and I really some good laughs, now I religiously watch it at home every Christmas season along with some other classics that
I watch every year like Home Alone, Die Hard,...

From the past seven years or so of Hallmark Christmas movies I count:

Heterosexual couples: 168
Homosexual couples: 0
White couples: 163
Black couples: 4
Hispanic couples: 1
Other races: 0
Mixed race couples: 0

From a sample size of 168 Hallmark Christmas movies, all 168/168 feature heterosexual relationships and 163/168 are white heterosexual relationships.

The "gay agenda" does not seem to be doing a very good job of winning the "War on Christmas" :biggrin2

Dude you have way too much time on your hand if you count movies based on fictional character demographics. I am personally so sick of 'alternative' lifestyles shoved down viewers throats, so I stopped watching a lot of shows where that is pushed. If you have a problem with the content of a channel, don't watch it. I for one don't mind the occasional light hearted story of a Christmas miracle, I'll catch an occasional made for TV Christmas move on Hallmark or Up every Christmas season. I'm sure there's an artistic indie Christmas story on YouTube involving characters who identify as one of the 387 genders out there these days.

The show and character is "Batwoman."
Thanks I realize I'm no expert. I did watch or tried to watch the first episode on CW, but couldn't watch it all the way through.

Maybe my mind was thinking of Catwoman, and for me Lee Meriwether was the real Catwoman.

I think that Catwoman was much sexier than the one played by Halle Berry

I can't say I totally disagree with you. My family came to an agreement to not do presents this year and there really was no argument. The time and money spent finding some trinket or article of clothing that will never be used or worn is better spent with family. Since there are no gifts to exchange this year, my normal Christmas Eve eve routine won't be done. Instead I'm planning to volunteer and hang out at the VFW Post my aunts brother inlaw belonged to who passed away earlier this year. Met the guy once, but he was an active member and the get together is in his honor. I've always wanted to do more to honor the veterans of the Armed Forces that keep this country free and honor the police and law enforcement officials who protect us.

Yes, your average Hallmark Christmas Movie is more about romance than Jesus Christ, but there's often a strong tie in to spending the day with loved ones and the importance of family. These are generally positive stories, we're not talking about The Purge here. I will be doing my annual trip downtown to see Trans-Siberian Orchestra (Presented by Hallmark Channel) on Dec 14, I'll be listening to A Country Christmas on SiriusXM, I will watch a few corny movies on Hallmark and Up, watch A Muppet Christmas Carol (favorite version of the story) on Christmas Eve at my moms, and I'll worship and volunteer in my own way. There can be a balance to this
