OK, it is that week, where the networks announce their new shows (most of the renewals and cancels are now announced early and there are few surprises).

NBC:

- Bluff City Law. Drama. Crusading civil rights lawyers. Politics. Pass.

- Sunnyside. Comedy. Disgraced politician returns to old neighborhood and is rebuilding his career by working with illegal aliens. Politics. Pass.

That is it for new shows on NBC. Mid-season inculdes:

- Council of Dads. Drama. Dying man sets up a group of men to be influence on his daughters. I can see a certain estrogen soaked audience, might do OK.

- Indebted. Comedy. Everybody Loves Raymond rip off.

- Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist. Musical Drama. Woman can read minds via hearing songs.

No descriptions listed for The Kenan Show, Lincoln, Perfect Harmony, and That's My Jam.

FOX:

- Bless The Harts. Cartoon. Sounds like King of the Hill.

- Prodigal Son. Drama. Agent tries to overcome being the son of a serial killer. Seriously? Pass.

- Not Just Me. Comedy. No description given.

- WWE. 'Raslin.

Of the 15 hours of prime time Fox programs, only five will feature actual live people in filmed scripted dramas. Not counting the 'raslin.

Next up is ABC.
