HDNet Vince Gill Horrible Mix

Looking forward to country night tonight. The concert mix for the first two songs is horrendous. A very "echoey" effect that just sounds terrible. Why don't the audio engineers get it? Main vocal in center channel, music mixed between the front three channels and crowd with minimal echo effect through the rears. The echo on this show has been dominant across the right/left speakers and is just plain annoying.

Hopefully the Clint Black concert will be mixed much better.

Agreed! It was very hard to listen too. I thought it was the audio settings on my HDTV but I went to my SD TV to watch it and the audio was just as bad. I recorded the 1st rebroadcast and was also bad. It's airing on Saturday so hopefully it will be fixed.

I read this elsewhere(AVS), not enough room to record the first time around... but will try the next one...
