HDOnly without locals

I just switched to the HD only package, but opted out of the locals since I have an OTA with flawless reception. However, now I have now guide data for the locals. I guess that was expected, wasn't it? :-(

Is the only way to get guide data back to re-subscribe to the locals?

Yep. If you don't sub to locals, you don't get guide data. For as many timers as I set on locals, the extra $5 is well worth it.
