I have HD receiver and what type of dish do I need to get HD programing with Classic 200 programing. Do I need a DP44 switch? What type satellite do I need? Dish 1000.2..Dish 1000 plus...I have no idea please help.

Programing: Classic 200 with local and HD Channels. Also, I have international programing. (I don't care if I get the International programing on this receiver)

Receiver: Dish Network ViP211k

2 - dish 500s...one pointed at 110-119 and the separate one pointed at 61.5 for the hd and locals. Switches I'm not up on...there are switch experts here though.

If you want the internationals then you'd need a 500+ (110-118.75-119) and a 500 for the 61.5. That's of course assuming that the international channels you want are on 118.75 and not 61.5. Then you're back to 2-dish 500s.

Can I buy one of the dish 1000's like the 1000.2 with 3 LNBs? I don't want to get into the whole switch thing (I don't need the international programing). I rather just buy sumthing that is easy to install. What is the simple way to do this?

I am moving one of the receivers to another location so I don't think dish will tell me anything. There customer services sucks azz.

You wanted to know the easy way. That's the easy way. Otherwise, you'll need 2 Dish 500s, one for 61.5 and the other for 110-119. I can't tell you about switches, I'm not an expert,...this place is a learning experience, so take notes like the rest of us.

You could use a 1000.4 for the eastern arc (61.5, 72.7, 77) or two D500s, one with DPP Twin LNB pointed at 110/119 and the second with a DP dual or single LNB pointed at 61.5. With only one receiver, the feed from the 61.5 can be run into the LNB IN of the DPP Twin and you don't need an external switch. This ignores international programming.

It has also been demonstrated that Eastern Arc is receivable with 2 D500s, one for 61.5 and 72.7 (yes it's a bit wide but it works) and one for 77.
