I have a DVR from Directv. At first I only had one line run to living room and one to bedroom. I have a 3 LNA (is that right or is it LNR?). Anyhoo. How do I run another line to living room. Right now I can only watch and record one show at a time. What kind of line. Also what kind of cable is needed to switch from analog to digital?

From the LNB assembly, you will need to run a cable all of the way to the room you want the DVR in (you will have to run two cables if it is going to be in a new location). I would recommend RG-6 cabling with compression fittings.

As far as the switch from analog to digital goes, it does not apply in this case since DirecTV (and Dish TV for that matter) are already 100% digital. The analog conversion applies to OTA channels that you receive via a more "traditional" antenna.

Did a technician install your DVR? If so call and complain that he didn't do the install correctly. It's mandatory that they run TWO lines to any DVR unless it's not physically possible to do so.
